A Utah litigator who got tired of watching ordinary people lose to the cost of access.
Eleven years on the floor of Utah courtrooms taught me what most lawyers learn fast and try not to dwell on: the law is not what's in the books, it's what people can afford to bring with them into the room. A pro se litigant with a meritorious claim gets crushed by a represented party with mediocre facts every day, in every state, without a single rule being broken. The system isn't unfair on its surface — it's unfair underneath, where verification is expensive and a missed citation looks the same as a missing case.
I built this — every line, alone, between filings — because I wanted to see whether the gap could be closed by deterministic verification rather than by lawyer-time. The engine you just clicked through is what happened when I refused to settle for "the LLM probably knows." It doesn't probably know. It cites against a closed corpus or it refuses.
What you see here is what I have. There is no team. There is no investor. The briefs and the code came out of the same desk, often in the same week, sometimes against the same opposing counsel.
