Vox Omnium has completed a whole-work translation run of The Odyssey. Publication review now asks the harder question: does the English carry the recurrence, structure, and force of the journey—not merely its sentences?
A long work is not a stack of unrelated sentences. Names recur. Images return with altered weight. Promises made in one book resolve in another. A translation system either carries those relationships or quietly spends them.
The completed Vox run is therefore not being presented as a one-click publication event. It has moved into an editorial release review that tests recurrence, register, names, verse behavior, and the naturalness of the English as a continuous reading experience.
That distinction matters. Completion means the entire work has passed through the system. Publication means the resulting edition has also survived human literary judgment, source checks, typography, and final proof. We will publish the edition status when those gates close.
